Senior Python/Django Engineer

About the role

We’re hiring a senior backend engineer to help build the core systems behind Perfect Billing — claims processing, eligibility, payer integrations, and the infrastructure that keeps SNFs getting paid accurately and on time. This is a high-ownership role for an engineer who moves fast without breaking the things that matter, and who’s comfortable being the most senior technical voice in the room.

What you’ll do

• Design and build core backend services in Python/Django powering claims, billing, and reimbursement workflows

• Architect integrations with payers, clearinghouses, and healthcare data systems

• Own performance, reliability, and data integrity for systems handling sensitive healthcare and financial data

• Set technical standards and mentor other engineers as the team grows

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years building production Python/Django systems at scale

• Direct experience with healthcare software — EHR, claims, billing, or similar regulated systems

• A track record of shipping complex systems fast without sacrificing quality

• Comfort owning ambiguous problems end-to-end — 10x execution speed and ownership
